We purchased our first miniature horse in December
1999 for our son, DJ, who had just turned two in October. We
thought the little horse and cart would be a great way for DJ to be
able to "ride" horses, since he was born with a birth defect,
requiring amputation of his left foot when he was nine months old and
wearing a prosthesis for life. The 32" white stallion
became DJ's pride and joy, and DJ participated with Sweetwater Kings
Creation or "Crea" in numerous public relation activities for the
Shriners. The love for this little horse blossomed for the
family and we decided on breeding, raising, training and showing AMHA
miniature horses.
Since Crea's purchase, our farm has grown and relocated from the
gulf coast of Florida to the foothills of the Smoky Mountains in
Sweetwater, Tennessee. Our horses are all AMHA registered and
some are also registered with AMHR. We strive to assist each
mare at foaling and imprint our babies from birth. Our
bloodlines include Bond, Komoko, Dell Teras, Egyptian King and Gold
Melody Boy, just to name a few.
